Step 1: Get the Mixture Right The perfect foam starts with the right ratio. A good starting point is to fill the cannon bottle about 80% with warm water, then add 2-4 ounces of your preferred car wash soap. Gently swirl the bottle to mix; do not shake it vigorously, as this creates suds inside the bottle instead of on your car.

Step 2: Dial In Your Foam Your EARLEAS foam cannon has two adjustments.

• Top Dial: This controls the water-to-soap ratio. Turn it towards the plus sign (+) for more soap and thicker foam. Turn it towards the minus sign (-) for a more watery mixture. Find the sweet spot that gives you foam thick enough to cling to the car without sliding off immediately.
• Front Nozzle: Twist the end of the nozzle to change the spray pattern from a narrow, direct stream to a wide, fan-like spray. For covering your car, you will want the widest fan setting.
